  Bring your camera! Beautiful spot. Quiet. Great place to enjoy nature. Birdwatchers delight. Beach access nearby. (15 min walk) Exquisite views from cottage. Such a lovely place to relax and finally get to read that book.

  Nightlife includes raccoons, owls, and even a small bear this trip. None were at all a problem. Be animal aware and keep foods secured, and deck area clean.

  Fire pit with wood bundles available for $10 cash. Bring along bug repellant. August visit still having mosquitoes, horseflies, and noseeums, mainly after dusk.

  Kitchen has basic dishes. Good idea to bring gloves, sos, spices etc. Salt and pepper are provided. You'll need paper towels, Kleenex, and napkins. Remember condiments too. Fridge has full size top freezer and ice cube tray. Sheltered BBQ close by out back of the cottage.

  Ramp to deck but not suitable for ease of wheelchair entry to cottage. Although, with assistance, could be wheelchair accessible.

  The cottage is environmentally friendly and recycle receptacles are outside. Some extra bags for indoor use would be handy to bring along.

  The cottages are a lovely pine walled inside. Spacious. Adequate sized bedrooms. Light blocking curtains in bedrooms. Fresh linens included. A good idea to bring a favorite pillow. Electrical plugs available, and included in bedrooms and one in washroom. A ceiling fan in the living room helps with the heat of summer. It's helpful to close windows and curtains during the hottest part of the day.

  WiFi was good. Satellite​ tv was good. The tv itself was a small tv located on a shelf built onto the wall. A great space saving idea, just be mindful, like the microwave, it can be a bruiser if not careful. Coffeepot and toaster are also provided.

  Spectacular beach a short drive away called Pomquet Beach. A must go spot with change rooms, washrooms, lifeguard service, and picnic areas. Access also by canoe rental ($15 cash) from cottage owners.
